Set within the Marylebone Conservation Area, the refurbishment of George Street reimagines a quiet courtyard building as a contemporary workspace with generous outdoor amenity at ground level and a series of planted terraces above. The project forms part of a wider upgrade that enhances the building’s performance and supports a more flexible, human‑centred way of working in the heart of Marylebone.

The courtyard is transformed into a comfortable, shaded outdoor workspace through a considered arrangement of planters, pots, trees and furniture. Planting is composed for year‑round structure and texture, using resilient species selected to thrive in the sheltered, low‑light conditions. Above, a sequence of terrace, including a new rooftop terrace and pavilion, extends the landscape vertically, offering elevated views and informal breakout spaces that bring greenery and outdoor comfort into the daily rhythm of the building.
