Studio gb’s proposals for One Poultry reimagine James Stirling’s architectural icon as a greener and more inviting workplace. The design enhances the ground level public realm with structured planting and upgraded paving, while terraces and roof gardens become vibrant spaces for wellbeing and biodiversity.
The Rotunda Garden retains its cloister-like character with layered vegetation, climbing plants and new pavilions for quiet retreat. The Apex Garden introduces granite paving, hedges and bold planting inspired by a “hot border,” creating a dynamic terrace with panoramic views.
Office terraces gain greenery and seating to improve comfort and visual amenity. These interventions respect Stirling’s geometry while embracing sustainability and user experience, offering a calm and resilient landscape above the City.
