Reimagining a Modern Icon

Our bench takes inspiration from two design classics: Marcel Breuer and Mies van der Rohe's iconic chairs. In the spirit of democratising good design for all, we reinvented this icon for a new reality, focused on sustainability. We propose a classic for the outdoors that considers material origins, lifecycle and carbon footprint.

The bench is a hard-wearing, sturdy piece made from recycled materials suitable for public spaces. Made of standard steel tubing and recycled plastic panels, the seat was designed to be simple and easily adaptable to any context. Curved, short or long, it can also be fitted with a backrest and a small side table.
